About me

I'm the founder of Afriversity and I live in Sweden but my second home is Cape Town :)

I have been in the IT industry for 25+ years, starting and running software companies in the UK, US and Asia. I've been an entrepreneur since I was 17 starting my own import business in Sweden.

I came in contact with the sub-Saharan Africa in the late 80's when I had customers in Nigeria. I fell in love with Africa and its people. Especially the energy and the soul of Africa in spite of its hardships.

I always wanted to do something to help release the entrepreneurial potential in Africa. And I was so happy to initiate the Afriversity Trust in 2009, as an idea to use education and mentoring as the most effective way to contribute to Africa's entrepreneurial development.
