I am so excited to be part of the Cape Town Afriversity community and to introduce myself ... very briefly; I am educated in business management and information technology. I have a long experience in business support as a market analyst, business planner and manager in different kind of projects (business intelligence, energy efficiency initiatives, business improvements and municipal property valuations processes). Right now I am exploring various opportunities and possibilities, many of them are directed to the rising level of unemployment in our country and improving service delivery in local authorities. I like to get involved in community building initiatives, technology and energy innovations and involve those people that are without work to be innovative.

I believe South Africa has talent and its people; especially the youth, have what it takes and are able to learn very fast. I believe in strengthening this creativity and motivating people to do a lot more.
As a business owner, our line of business is provision of business services, undertaking property valuation projects, consultancy services, e-commerce and internet, training and skills transfer. We would like to offer expert services in these areas in order to win government contracts. This is our biggest challenge at the moment because although our company is certified as a level 4 BEE contributor, with 100% black ownership, even the smallest piece of the government contracts pie is still eluding us. We are starving for business and intend to operate at national and regional level. We still need the competitive edge to operate in government contracting and are ready to break through. We are seeking technical partners to compete with more experienced companies.
